...Business returns to normal: the villagio mall

resurfaces and resumes its normal chores after a

tragic accident. is there a better measures to

reinforce its current standards on fire prevention

and safety?

....this months passed have been a chaotic period for the authorities to prevent such fire incidents that cost lives and injures other and they have performed their utmost best...but in a such climatic condition here...it'll be expected that incident might occur again...it may be a human error, under trained personnel that needs to be trained on such situation, or some sub-standard materials have been overlooked and did not passed to the authorities and regulations have been allowed to be installed, or somehow during the design process some certain elements have been neglected, are some of the factors that might contribute for an incident to occur...

.....as architects, planners, designers, construction specialist, material engineering, building maintenance and administration and coordination..... are there things we need to consider to contribute our design to prevent such incident or reduce the risk in a controllable level wherein the system installed and trained personnel could perform much higher than is to be expected?

What kind of leader are you?

Everyone is created to be a leader...because we all do made social influences to accomplish a particular tasks or purpose...Since all of people are uniquely different from each other, what type of leader would you describe yourself?! and if you think you are not a born leader, which type of leader would you prefer to be?

a. autocratic - authoritarian style;all decision-making powers are centralized in the leader, as with dictator.  Leaders do not entertain any suggestions or initiatives from subordinates. The autocratic management has been successful as it provides strong motivation to the manager. It permits quick decision-making, as only one person decides for the whole group and keeps each decision to him/herself until he/she feels it needs to be shared with the rest of the group.

b. participative - democratic style; favors decision-making by the group. Such a leader gives instructions after consulting the group.  They can win the cooperation of their group and can motivate them effectively and positively. The decisions of the democratic leader are not unilateral as with the autocrat because they arise from consultation with the group members and participation by them.
